What is Boxacise?
Boxacise is a trademark of the Australian Academy of Boxing
proprietary sports and fitness product of boxing and
exercise reflex co-ordination and fitness training. The
objective and focus is to provide all participants with
efficient structural reflex co-ordination and power
projection skills utilising specialised exercises and
equipment
The Boxacise cross training circuit is a combination of
safe enjoyable practical skill acquisition, aerobic
endurance and anaerobic power projection condition
exercises.
Equipment
The Boxacise equipment focus is on equipment that will,
with the assistance of a qualified Boxacise coach, aid every
participant's structural reflex co-ordination skills, whilst
conditioning their aerobic and anaerobic energy systems.

Core equipment includes speedballs, power balls,
various size floor to ceiling balls and punching bags,
skipping ropes, medicine balls, focus pads, large punching
pads, and the popular Boxacise all-purpose gloves designed
to be worn throughout the circuit. Core utilities are the
specialised Boxacise music tapes that set the rhythm in
every session, hygienic cotton gloves, and mirrors.
Ancillary equipment may include bikes, steppers, steps,
rowers, light hand weights, treadmills, and abdominal
workers.
The Training Format
Sessions are usually of one-hour duration but may be
tailored to fit shorter early morning or lunch time factors.
The format comprises an introductory exercise phase, plus a
circuit phase utilising all the equipment and a cool down.
